SAFARICOM LEWA MARATHON IN THE WILD

The Safaricom Marathon is just a day away , and Meru County is glad to be hosting the event in one of its biggest conservancy.

With the registration being closed a month to the event, most participants and visitors from different parts of the world have set camp already at the venue.

The marathon aims to raise $1 million towards wildlife conservation & community development projects across Kenya. Expected to be in  attendance will be Kenya’s first lady Margret Kenyatta , the Cabinet secretary in charge of Tourism Najib Balala , Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi , The Meru county tourism directorate , reknown marathoners including Eliud Kipchoge and other distinguished guest.
